Q&A: My car air condition make a clicking noise; why?


Question by Jon D: My automobile air problem make a clicking noise why?
I have five energy settings on my air conditioner, when its on one-2 I can listen to a tiny clicking noise coming from what I think is the fan beneath the glove box. Its very irritating and has been going on for the previous five months (I’ve been busy hard financial system, will not received considerably cash). Cool and heat have usually worked and even now do… Anyone have any concept? Is it risk-free to unscrew it and see if there is some thing bothering it?

I have a Saturn Ion 2007.

I have had this difficulty on my truck when I use my a/c but my dilemma is I have a freon leak when it gets very low it tends to make a clicking noise.
